One of the many advantages of being a student at an Pedro Sauer Academy are the many affiliate days that are offered. It is a chance to train with some of the top black belts in the world as well as ask them any questions you may have. Our Academy often travels to Atlanta Martial Arts Center and Knoxville BJJ. These are events that you do not want to miss.

Instructor Rhodes is a militar
y and police veteran, and continues to serve his community and his country in many ways. Active not only in operational status but also active in training both the military and law enforcement communities. He is never afraid to make a stand for what is right and just. His reputation is that of a very kind and giving individual; and his loyalty and dedication to the people is uncompromised.
Rhodes is proud to be part of the Pedro Sauer Association, and is honored to be part of the Gracie Jiu Jitsu Community. He has been blessed with many high level instructors throughout his career and continues to train with the likes of Grand Master Relson Gracie, Masters Rickson and Royler Gracie, Master Pedro Sauer, and Professor Luis Heredia.
He is a Black Belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu Under Master Pedro Sauer and also Endorsed as a Black Belt by Grand Master Relson Gracie, as well as endorsed as a Black Belt by The Jiu Jitsu Global Federation and Master Rickson Gracie.
Our first annual Pedro Sauer black belt seminar was held with Sihing Chris Benfield from Atlanta Martial Arts center. Chris Benfield currently holds rank as a black belt under Master Pedro Sauer who is a direct student of Grandmaster Helio Gracie, the founder of Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Sihing Chris has trained for 12 years under Sifu Alan Baker. A ton of techniques and drills were covered in our 3 hour seminar. Such as (Various gun defenses,open guard passing, armbar techniques and much more).We had a total of 15 Professor Pedro Sauer students attend and hope to double that next year. Congrats to Eric Johson on earning his blue belt before the seminar.
